Skills Overview

A skill is a Markdown file (plus optional config) that teaches an AI agent how to use a specific tool or library. aidimension ships 12 skills that turn your AI into an expert aidimension developer.

What is a skill?#

A skill is a structured prompt that:

  1. Tells the agent what the tool is and when to use it
  2. Provides canonical examples it can pattern-match
  3. Lists API reference and edge cases
  4. Defines output schemas the agent should follow

Skills are agent-agnostic — they work with Claude Code, Cursor, GPT, Windsurf, Aider, and any agent that supports the Agent Skills spec.
